The Clark S40D is the S40-55 series model designed for medium and heavy material handling in manufacturing, commercial, warehousing and distribution centres. The S-Series forklifts are the first choice solution for both medium-duty and extremely demanding applications. Robust design, reliable and powerful operation, and low operating and maintenance costs are key features of this series.

The diesel version of the S40 uses the modern HDI DM03 industrial engine. The ergonomic driver’s cab offers space for the driver both above the head and in the footwell. Intuitive controls and a hydraulic steering servo ensure easy operation and a high level of safety.

The weatherproof Clark mast profile construction and wet chain brakes ensure up to 50% less brake demand and maintenance-free operation.

Optional extras include super-elastic tyres, heated and air-conditioned cabins, armrest-mounted mini-lift with directional control, directional switch mounted on the mechanical hydraulic lever, integrated or hook-mounted sidehook, lockable fuel tank cap, reversing camera, USB charging port, 12-volt power supply, blue safety light as visual reversing alarm, load weight indicator, CLARK vertical mast system (VMS) which automatically stops the mast from tilting in the vertical position, quick couplings, reversing alarm and vertical exhaust pipe.
